The extended mag release allows shooters to quickly drop the magizine out of their Glock without rotating the weapon to reach the release. The magazine release is relatively easy to install (usually less than 10 minutes) and is made of the same material as the factory Glock piece. *"The extended catch is just perfect…not too short, not too long, i.e. the magazine will not accidentally release if pistol is laid on a hard surface.
